Welcome to my wedding planning blog!

About my wedding: Summer 2012 -- 200-250 guests (local and international) -- New England location (outside or inside) -- Activities including golf or boating -- Food and music are priorities

Please share any tips, recommendations or advice!!!

Venues

I'm considering venues in New England - including MA, RI, NH, VT and southern ME.  At least 50% of my guests will have to fly in, many from international locations, so it is really important to find a place that will be fun and interesting for my guests to spend a long weekend.  I'm really flexible in terms of venue and would be willing to have something indoors, outdoors, at a resort, golf course, etc.  I'd love to find a place that (1) has excellent food and (2) lets me bring in my own alcohol (at least one open bar is a must!).
