Wedding planning is completely overwhelming and exciting at the same time. I'm not even engaged yet (although will be within six months) and am starting to plan for a summer 2012 wedding. My goal is to plan an extremely fun party to celebrate with my friends and family. I love nice things and am completely type A so am trying to find ways to save money and have a casual but fun wedding where everyone feels comfortable, the food is great and the music keeps people dancing all night long!

Southern New England Venues - Private Alcohol Permitted
I recently purchased a copy of Southern New England Weddings Magazine and found a list of reception venues that permit private alcohol. I know this can be a HUGE cost savings so will look into these venues! http://www.southernneweddings.com/
